It was always going to be a matter of time rather than anything else for Murali. It is really a great achievement especially given the lows that he saw in Australia during the days of chucking rows!! It has been a pleasure to see him tease and torment batsmen from all over the world with his brand of offspin. Congratulations Murali. Cheers! Ram

As an England fan I would say I prefer that Murali holds the record than the Australian Shane Warne, though I was hoping it would take a few more tests for Murali to break the record
