If you were to run for President of the United States, what would your platform be? Mine would be child safety, crime, and education.

I would never want the job. But I would certainly have opinions. I could lobby. Health care is big on my agenda. I believe some form of socialized care ought to be available in countries. The cost of medical treatment needs to be seriously reviewed. Repeat offenders need more of an eye for an eye punishment. And finally, social security needs to be protected, not only for us, but for our children.

I wouldn't want the job neither. I agree that there should be a nationalized, severly scrutinized, health care system in this country. The 1st step in that would be to cap malpractice law suits. Then to publicly fund and monitor the pharmaceutical companies. I think that in nationalizing health care it would also be a step into protecting social security. An eye for an eye approach to criminals might be a detterent in the rising crime rate in this country. There definatly needs to reform to the criminaal justice system. Which I think education and creation of more jobs would also help to change.

I agree that you've got a good start. However, you neglected to include many things that people are concerned about such as illegal immigration, the widening gap between the upper and lower classes, and bringing our military home safely. I would want to know your position on these issues as well as what you would do to get the US back to being the respected nation it used to be before I would consider voting for you.

In order to bring the US back to being respected you would have to reduce the number of troops overseas, I would try to quit using military force to prove that what I say is right. Diplomacy is a better course than hostillity. Bridging the gap between the classes would become easier with better education and more (and better)job creatioon. Illegal immigration is definatly a growing problem. I don't know that I have a solution for that problem. Tougher laws, more enforcement agents, and a deal with some of the other countries to help from their sides would be a start.

My term would last for 4,years and 8 years hopefully.I would reduce the crime level.i would reduce the poverty level.I would eliminate the cats testing of students in schools and spend this money to provide more teacher per student in the classrooms.educated people do not commit voilent crimes and tend to earn enough to stay out of the poverty level.they in turn will produce more for their communities as good working citizens. GETTING THE NEXT GENERATION WELL EDUCATED should be the most important act any elected official can do. THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE BY PROVIDING WELL QUALITIFIED TEACHERS AND ENOUGH OF THEM IN THE CLASSROOMS.25 to 28 students per teacher is way to many i believe this is the reason that so many student come out of school as dumb as they start.teachers just don't have enough time to share with each student as they should.10 to 15 students per teacher is more realistic. God made each family consist of an average of 3 kids he put two teachers over them (mom and dad) how can a teacher be that much better than a mom or a dad?

I agree that education is of paramount importance. Alot of the problems with the US today is because the education system fails to properly reach todays youth. A better student to teacher ratio surely would help that issue. I also think that education starts at home, parents need to get children interested in education at an early age.

Mine would be more towards helping the poor instead of always helping the ones that don't need it. And of course more laws to protect the kids.
