do you know how difficult it is to work with a difficult person for twenty years

Working with a boss that's emotionally immature and irrational for twenty years is no easy situation. Acting like a shock absorber of her emotional bursts and unpredictable manners drained me of my creativity for many times. It is as if I am the one (not to mention my co-workers) who try to keep the situation at hand, instead of her leading us. Nevertheless, I learn much under this kind of relationship.

I will never know what this is like because I would quit if I had to deal with things like that. I have worked for a person who was like that, immature, and making job decisions based on what kind of mood she was in, and it didn't last long. In fact, not many people lasted long. They didn't pay me enough to put up with that.
