This is just a fun discussion just to see who has the most imagination. If you could have any one special power, which would it be? Here's a few to pick from or pick one of your own:

I think I'd like to be able to Time Travel. I'd love to see other times in the past and what's coming up in the future.

I too will go with time travel. I like to make a little extra money by time traveling. I won't make like a thousands of dollars in one shot where I will stand out.

I think I would love to be able to grow a secret stash of money trees lol.... It would be great to buy my family a lot of things that they have always wanted. Pay off their mortgages, get them out of debt, and treat all the kids to everything they want and need. Then I would give away the seeds to the trees to every body so that hunger and poverty can be abolished.... Ok My imagination is running riot!!!! :-)

Great fun discussion, thanks, I would love to time travel! I did think about the choices long and hard because it was difficult to choose so many! I narrowed it down to two time travel and reading minds, I think reading minds would be quite dangerous and frightening as well as not being strong enough to cope with what people really do think of me! But with time travel I could change my past and undo crazy decisions I have made which have wrecked my life, I would undo the damage and reverse decisions, yep I like that idea. If only! But thanks it was good to dream awhile.

To be able to time travel would be wonderful. To be able to put right all the mistakes I have made in the past, to be able to make the right choices in the future. Oh yes, and to know the lottery numbers would be useful too :-)

I think I'd like the time travel too. Mind control sounds a little too scary for the responsibility factor, as does reading minds.

I am usually stuck between the power to heal and the power to stop time.
I love the idea of me being able to get mad, freeze time, and vent out my frustrations without anyone getting hurt.
On the other hand I would really love to heal.
Telaporting/orbing/apparating is also another one I would LOVE to have. Just to be able to be in one place one minute and one place the next would be beyond awesome!

I wouldn't want to read minds because mine is already busy enough and it would probably drive me crazy to know everyone elses thoughts! I wouldn't mind being invisible since I'm kind of nosey by nature anyway! It would be kind of fun to mess with people too, as if you were a ghost! lol

i'd like the power of flight. i wish i could fly, i sometimes even dream about it. if not that then i'd want the power of invisibility. i'm a nosey person [hah], so it would be great.

shapeshifter, definately a shapeshifter. I would turn myself into money and spend myself, then turn into an ant and crawl out of the cash drawer and leave. I would need a partner for this though. Gotta have somebody to receive the product that he spent me on.

I think the mind control thing would be cool..more specifically the power of persuasion (like Jedi mind tricks or the vampire on Blood Ties). I wouldn't pursuade them to do anything wrong..But I could use it on my kids like "You will go and clean your room now" and they'd just go and do it with no argument LOL.

I think that I would want *endless energy*. With my Multiple Sclerosis, I am so tired. I would love to have endless energy to accomplish many things. Time travel would be cool though. I don't know about the future, but I would love to go back in time to investigate a few things. :-)

It's funny we had a discussion like this with my friends. Like what super power would you like to have? And there was no choices at all and i was like time travel. LOL
The reason i like to travel through time is not the same as your reason. It's like i can change my mistakes and i can see my future and i can change everything. Influence people in the past and in the future. If a had made a mistake i could just go back in the past and change it. Or if a test comes up i could travel into the future to see the answers. It could make my life a lot easier. LOL

Well Twoey,Time travel seems like the best of the list you so kindly provided.
We could go back and clear up any relationship problems we may have created.
We'd have advance knowledge of future technology and prepare in advance or get the jump on every one else.
We could purchase stocks in all the right markets and make a killing.
Get the education we may have missed the first time around.

My good side tells me to pick invisibility but the dark side in me tells me to pick mind control. But anyway, if I have to pick only one then I'll choose invisibility. Why? Because if I have mind control powers, life would be too easy! Invisibility, on the other hand, is thrilling. The feeling of being caught but not being seen is an awesome thrill. I can also do a lot of stuff with invisibility. I could sneak up on somebody and scare the hell out of him hehe. Just imagine all the pranks I could pull off. hehe :-)

I guess I would choose the reading mind thing. It would so fun if I can read other people's mine. And maybe play with it a little bit. It would be fun to know when other people's have bad thoughts about something or someone, and I would tell the person what he/she thinking about..I'm so evil..
