One year ago people were more into demonstrations and Bush bashing. Lotsa people have bad thoughts about the war to. With the improvements in Iraq Ive not heard the democrats complain so much either. Some still insist its over oil but I try to not hear gossip. Yes many people have died and many more will. People dont realize theres a lot more going on behind the in your face facts that people see. The US has been successful in stopping the terrorists here from killing us off. I havent lost any freedoms. Wire taps dont affect me because Im not guilty but people still dont get it. The economy is fairly good and food is still cheaper here than most countries. We can do better but with so many people complaining instead of working together to make a better country theres a bitter halt to good improvements. I want to pay tax and not break laws so that my grandkids can have a better life. I love this country because I can make a diffrence. How about you? Can you make a change that will help? Voting and just being a good citezen role model.

dbmax41, I and most people who tend to oppose the actions of the US government are not against anyone loving his or her country/nation; we simply against noted and historic US government's double standard! In fact, I would that all people were thankful to be of the nation and/or continent that they are. I want you and everyone to be proud of his or her nationality. In fact, if people were always thankful to be of their original nation, then we will all have less immigration problems and civil wars around the world.
Immigration, as I have often said, is not a good thing! Most of our prolonged world civil wars (and even genocides) are the result of uncontrolled immigration. I have sometimes wondered if the holocaust, the Rwanda genocide, the Dalfur problem, etc. would have occured if it were not for uncontrolled immigration.
