i am an old timer atleast music wise. i feel that music these days music has no soul coz the artists are too concerned about whether or not they are making a hit or not

I know what you mean. If they can make a video or not and how they look is more important than talking from the soul.

At your tender young age it is great you see music from a deeper perspective than just money-making (and even that is fairly garbage-kind of stuff too).
