the relationship of human and animal is very old,we find the both relation in the history very close like the animalsalways do work for human and huma always love to have pets in his home or he always use animal for his work
today the relation ship of human and animal is convert in to machine and human relation, because today machine is doing all work of human and animal

I am afraid that I a little disagree with your point. the long long time ago, it is true that human tried to domesticate animals to replace or help human labor. As for that, people, to some extent, used animal for work. However, such relationship have greatly changed because machines also could help people. The role of animal is a little difference than before because people raise pets to accompy them or just for fun.
Some animals like dogs or cats are always regarded as people's friends. These pets have the deep affection towards their owners
