Do you usually shop with the hole family?

Today, I was free of from work. I needed to do some shopping for clothing. So was my son. We set a date on a specific time to meet in a shop. I was almost finished. We needed it both, because we both had lost some weight so most of our clothes are to big. For the first time in a long time I did enjoy shopping. I could try clothing without feeling to big or to small. My son though did not enjoy it that much, however he got him self a sweater and socks, underwear and a pair of boots for winter. I did get a lot. We shore have spent some money today, but I did enjoyed it. Not often you do. My son went with a friend for dinner, so I have just cal my daughter to go and do the same. A god end of a shopping day
Next time I will go and do some Christmas shopping for gifts. Than I go by my self, or perhaps me and my three younger sisters go together.
Do you enjoy spending money with your family together or do you usually go by your self?

I usually have to go shopping with my family, but I absolutely HATE it. We can never get along about anything, especially clothes. It always ends in a big fight. i wish I had a drivers license so I could go by myself. The closest thing I have is that there is a convienence store about 15 minutes from where I live, and I can walk, but there isn't alot to buy....

I can see what you mean. I have that issue with my son to, when He is not in the mood for shopping. And today he went very fast to look for what he needed. I can not do so much about it. But today he got what He wanted very fast, just to be able to leave me alone with my shopping.
Go and get your driver license...and shop for your self. It should be a great way to spend a family day not a war about clothing and other stuff.

i usually go shopping alone or w/ my husband i dont go shopping w/ my family like father/mother and brother i just buy them 1 or 2 pcs gift for holidays because my parents doesnt like to walk in a crowded people because they feel tired very easily and about my 2 older brother they have their own family so they shop w/ their own family and i love to walk and stay in the mall up to 5 hrs to buy something good:-)

Ok, I only shop with my sisters in Christmas time, or if we are going to share a birthday gift or something like that. Other, we usually do not shop together. I try to have my son with me, it is only the two of us so...He is not fond of shopping...however he has to be with me to try things on before getting it.

when i'm buying things for myself, i usually shop alone. its very seldom that i would take any of the members in the family with me. before, i used to take my niece with me when i'm buying clothes for me and for her and her brother and sister. but then, things change and i don't take her with me anymore. ^.^
i only go with my mother sometimes when she is buying grocery items. but that would still be seldom too. i would only go with her if i feel like it. ^__^;;

yeah. when i shop alone i can concentrate on what i want to buy and i can take my time without worrying about someone waiting for me to finish in the dressing room or to finish choosing what to buy. ^__^;;

Thank you for responding and happy new year. I guess many of us usually go to shop alone. I went with my son on the Christmas sale to see that he bought what he was suppose to by. He made the choses him self but I had to see they fit alright. But then I paid it himself and got what I had requested him to by. Otherwise he would have got the wrong things.

I do go shopping with my sons a lot but now that they are older they don't like to go out as much as they used to. They spend lots of time with there friends.

Now that I stop to think about it we do an aweful lot of our shopping as a family. I pretty much do the grocery shopping alone, but other than that my family is usually with me. My husband and I both dislike shopping, so I think that we all go together so we can get as much as it done in one shot as possible.

Well, I guess it is not fun to spend your hard working money...however, you need clothing. And yet, it is not fun to shop. I do not like it either, but today I just had to. I needed clothing sitting OK. And I pretty much did it in a couple of hours or so. And it was not so much people at this time, so it made it fast.

Hello anetteh. I usually shop with my sister and my father, but I really enjoy it when the whole family can go to the mall together. That would be fun. I dont really like shopping by myself. Yes, you can save money when shopping alone but, usually when buying clothes I need someone's opinion. Like my mother or sister.
