I saw the film "American Gangster" a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. Of course, I think that director Ridley Scott can do no wrong. I found the story to be fascinating and I had never heard of the man who the story was based on, even though he was born and raised in the city I now live in (I guess a person like that is nothing to be proud of!). What do the rest of you think?

I have not seen the film, but I did read up on this well, creep and it is nice to know that now we can learn that the Italians and the Chinese were not the only ones who produced gangsters and mobsters. I have had enough of the Mafia and the Tong, and the Russian Mafia. Now we know that evil is not just limited to the Caucasian and the Oriental. I do not think that man has anything to be proud of or else he threatened his neighbors. I certainly did not hope that his neighbors were so glad to receive money from him that they overlooked his bad points.
