One night ,i gave a call to one of my closest friends, and she told me that it was the birthday of another general friend, who,i don't have much contact with, and suggest me give a call to her. I agreed, but it quite violated my mind, for i have no preparation for the abrupt greeting, and if i did ,i should have say something out of my real heart. So i did not give a call to her.So if it is the case with u,what will u do?Thanks!

First, when you agreed to call, what was in your mind? Is it to please your friend? The point is that you have agreed. Therefore, you are bound to do your vow. In the first place, you were free when your friend suggested that you call. the moment you agreed, you are bound to perform it.
Develop the character of doing what you agreed to do! Let's not be like many who said yes, but in their mind, no. If not, it will become a habit, until it's already a part of you. It's not healthy if you want some respect.

hi fangzi.i think you should have called her.because intially to told your friend that you would call her.i guess either if you did not wanted to wish her then you should have done at that stage only.but if you said yes then you should do because its just words that counts.if at your friend will come to know she will feel bad.its true that one sould do what their heart says but one also needs to make their commitment.both are equally important.
