why do we get serious in love

So obviously you are in-love with someone. When you are in your right age and ready for marriage, you will get serious with somebody whom you love. You show respect, and hopefully preserve yourself for your loved one. It is different when there is no love, but lust. You just want to play around, have some fun whatever the outcome.
