Would your child take a bullet for you?

I just read an article about a child who dove in front of her mother and took 3 bullets for her. Do you think your child would do the same?

How old was this child? ts pretty amazing for a child to do this. I would like to know more details.
I think my 14 year old daughter would go out of her way to protect me. We are very close, she is brave & a quick thinker.
My step children certainly wouldn't.

She is young - only 7. She was shot 6 times by her mothers boyfriend. My son is 8 and i don't think he is brave enough or quick enough on his feet to do something like this for me, but you know how kids are they always do extraordinary things.

Now my sons are still small and I'm sure they wouldnt even understand. But the way they love me now I feel that they would. Not that I would want them to. I would rather take the bullets then have them in pain.

I don't know, but I would hope not. I would much rather be shot than my daughter. I know for sure I would be the one diving in front of my daughter! I think she would though if that were to happen God forbid. However I just hope she doesn't try anything like that ever!

Child of today could do every thing. Because there is quite difference between child of today and child of yester. Our past was very simple and very sober but our present is cleverer than the past. Our child watches the movies. Sees the TV and learn lots of negatives from such sources of information and entertainment. Our children of to day are not obedient to their parent as they were in our past. So we can not expect them will they will not take 3 bullets for mother.

Being obedient and respectful has nothing to do with this. regardless if a child watches TV or movies, they will want to protect their parent.
