With scienfific and theological theory being sold as fact daily, do you care? That's right, best guess is sold was fact! Why, cos it's easier than saying they don't know!
Large amounts of what we think we know falls into this catagory, and I believe that we should know what is absolute fact, and what is supposition.

Much of our recorded history is replete with "facts" sold to us by those in power so that they can keep their power. A thousand years ago everyone KNEW the pope represented God on Earth and the king was the chosen sovereign. Five hundred years ago everyone KNEW the world was flat. One hundred years ago everyone KNEW electricity flowed from positive to negative. And now everyone KNOWS the rich control the world and there's nothing we can do about it. But there are far more of us than there are of them. They have power over us because the majority of us believe they do. Their money is worth something because the majority of us believe it is so. I believe the day will come when these "facts" will vanish because the majority of us agree these "facts" are irrelevant and are counter productive toward our survival.
