Do You Like Guns?

With gun issues so much in the news I had to take a good long look at how I really feel about guns. I have always been tolerant of guns because they were around. I grew up in the country where nearly every household kept at least one gun as protection from wild animals, for hunting, etc. When my children were small we lived in a really bad neighborhood and I eventually bought a gun for protection for my family. Several years later I got rid of it. Now that I see how much destruction they can cause I have developed a real dislike for guns. What are your feelings on the subject? Do you like guns? Do you just tolerate them for safety's sake? Do you hate them?
