Is smoking 1-2 cigarettes a week bad for your health?

can anyone tell me what the effects of smoking a cigarette a week would be? would there be any at all? would i get short of breath quicker while working out? anything..

since you can't really quit smoking fully, smoking 1-2 sticks a week shouldn't affect your health. However, do avoid to be close to those who smoke. 2nd hand smokers effect are much more dangerous that you smoking it yourself.

if you really can keep it to only 2, then its ritualistic use and it won't hurt you

There are little cilia in your lungs that clean the lungs by breaking down any bad toxins inhaled that stick to the walls of the lung, smoking a cig every once and a while gives the cilia the opportunity to clean themeless without interruption from lets say a another cig within a short period of time smoking is bad because its usually repetitive (obviously) and the lungs aren't able to clean themselfs out because theres just way to much toxins built up. I remember reading this on a doctors form.
