You should do anything constructive the more you can.
Reading is constructive as it helps developing your intelligence. You should read as much as you can, i dont know what you read but try some quality literature. Search for classics they will really enhance your brain in time.
So no, there is no limit, you should read as much as you can, but also dont make it your only activity. The Brain is important but so is the body, do sports also, whatever is your physical condition it will get even better.
Books for the brain and sports for the body is a fine way to grow up healthy and (hopefully) happy.

I dont know there are so many, you can try "The master of ballantrae" (stevenson), "1984" (orwell, but be aware its a VERY dark story), "Lord of the rings" (Tolkien), or find translations in you language for anithing from Italo Calvino.
Edgar Allan Poe is another great writer.
Just find out which are considered to be "the classics" in you culture, you know those authors they make you read in school? I know very well that young people dont enjoy reading those because they think its like forced reading. But most of theese books are masterpieces if you really try them. I remember reading stuff at school that i hated, i did read some of those books again years after and loved every word of them.
Just stay away from low entertainment books. Happy reading..

well, that can be both...in reading, you can get a lot of knowledge...that if you are reading something good...there are some books that only encourage violence and other stuff...there are novels that are truly entertaining and informative, as well...but, it is also good that you will also explore the world...you know, keep the things balance and you don't just isolate yourself from the world...

Reading is wonderful at any age! But just like someone else suggested, don't cut yourself off from other things because of reading. You should lead a well-rounded life as a teen.
My 13 yo dd loves to read! She reads a lot, but she also is into a lot of other things as well... girl scouts, youth group, school musicals and hanging out with friends.

I don't think there should be a limit to when a person can read novels. I believe we should encourage more people to read as much as possible. Knowledge is power. You can get so much knowledge in reading. I say you read as much as you can. Reading books is a lot of fun too.

For me, there should never be a limit in your reading of novels. Actually i applaud your for having interest in reading and that's one hobby that can be both entertaining and informative at the same time. Read all the novels you want though just make sure that in the process you don't end up like a geek. I have this friend who reads a lot he doesn't have social life anymore as he would rather spend time alone to read. Try not to be like him as that is being unhealthy already. I suggest too that other than novels try to widen your interest like self-help and personality development books.

Well they say reading is good but so long as you are not cutting yourself off from other good things in life, there is a lot of fun to be had out there, I guess at 15 you should be out there really enjoying life with friends and such but these days I guess that is not always safe, just don't cut yourself off...enjoy life being young is the best time of your whole life.

reading is so important it should never be stiffeled. Read all the novels you want! If kids want to read their fav books over and over, I don't see why not let them!! I would encourage them to read others also, but dont' take away a favorite!

well, as soon as you have finished everything you need to do (chores, homeworks, revisions,) you can read as much as you like. but just don't get to the point that you don't eat, sleep or even have a social life at all. lol.
