The Oneness of GOD

The word of God teaches that the one God who revealed Himself in the old testament as Jehovah revealed himself in His Son, Jesus Christ. Thus Jesus Christ was and is God. In other words, Jesus is the one true God manifested in flesh, for in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily(John1:1-14; I Timothy 3:16; Colossians 2:9).
while fully God, Jesus was also fully man, possessing a full and true humanity. He was both God and man. Moreover, the Holy Spirit is God with us and in us. Thus God is manifested as Father in creation and as the Father or the Son, in the Son for our redemption, and as the Holy Spirit in our regeneration.

Bible says he is "the father and the son and the holy ghost". the means one. Just like a man is a father, a son and a brother. Or a son, a brother and a nephew. All one being but with 3 differnt roles.

So true, I believe in that. Jesus was a true form of our God, our GOD in the form a man, fully God yet fully man. Had all the powers and all the humanity there could be. Came to teach us the lesson of love forgiveness and brotherhood. He came to teach that no one is small, big or bad. everybody is same, and so He took the form of a man and became one of us. He is our ever Loving Lord and God. He is the one almighty, always with us in the form of Holy Spirit, Always guiding us through the path of life.
Lord is with us.
Take Care
May GOD Bless YOU

I believe what the bible says and Paul is one of my favorite authors, however there is much debate about this and debate causes division. Even Christ himself set an example for us by saying there is only one good and that is God. He did not call himself God and reprimanded the man who called him "good man".
The first commandment says that we should have no other God's, god's or whatever.
The Holy spirit descended upon Jesus like a dove at his baptism and said, this is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased.
Jesus prayed to the Father while alone in the garden of Gethsemane. Did he pray to himself?
I believe when Paul speaks of Jesus being the fullness of the Godhead bodily what he is saying is that Jesus exemplified the Godhead and manifested his power for all on earth to see. Before Christ, there was no bodily person of God, only his spirit. The Father did not cease to exist when the son came. He was and still is on His throne. Jesus' throne is on the right hand of the Father's throne.
There are still three living persons in the Godhead.
God is spirit, Jesus is the hand and voice of God and the Holy spirit is the spirit of God, which is in Jesus and when we become a part of Christ we also receive this spirit in ourselves.

if there are three persons in Godhead then i can say that you are definitely wrong, because a person has its own body and soul...and i think you mean that the Father has its own body and soul and likewise with the Holy Spirit. because you said they were persons...and all i know that the apostles didn't teach three person in one throne...am i right? I don't think that is what heartuvgold is saying at all. It is a basic Christian principal that Christ is part of the Godhead Trininty of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Christ is God in bodily form, The Father is God in heaven and the Holy Spirit is the messenger of God.
I'm not sure what the discussion is supposed to be about - I guess I should read it again, but if there is a question there, it's not clear to me

"[Jesus] did not call himself God and reprimanded the man who called him "good man".
Jesus refers to Himself as "I Am" ... a name (Yahweh) that God declares as His own in Exodus 3. It was so holy that the Jews would not even speak it, as a matter-of-fact before the Scribes would even write it they would bathe first. Not only did Jesus speak it aloud, He declared Himself I Am.
In Matthew 26, when Caiaphas was questioning Jesus, Jesus names Himself the Son of Man ... in other words the Messiah. The high priest tore his clothes and accused Him of blasphemy (calling himself God).
Jesus certainly called himself God which is why the Jews wanted him crucified.
I'm with Livewyre on this though ... what is the question?
