Job opportunities are high in India because now India is developed so many MNC are open their branch in India. Here they invest low price then get high profit. So they open new branches from that we have lot of job opportunities have been produced.
# Yes job opportunities are more in India, which is developeing now . Many foriegn companies are Opening thier branches in India in the name of BPO's and CALL CENTERS.
# The main reason why these foreign companies are opting India is due to the simple fact that India has many graduates and unemployed youth who are ready to accept a job with less pay then their foreign counter parts. Due to which they will gain more profits...........

We are now locked in a global economy, you just need to see how the American mortgage crisis has had reprocussious around the world to see that is true. If big business wants to out-source the work then it will do it. What amazes me is why, as consumers we allow these companies to take jobs away from us! Developing countries have the right to develop, I would never suggest otherwise, but to do it at the expense of the richer countries, or more importantly, the less afluent in these countries, is wrong. The only way to stop this practice is for consumers to stop using companies that choose quick profits over customer satisfaction.
I live in the UK, and there are several companies who choose to locate their call-centres overseas, often causing problems with understanding accents. Having worked in home IT for many years I have got used to most of this, but it is frustrating when a customer hands the phone to me, cursing that they can't understand what the person on the other end is saying to them.

Right time, right place, right company is the slogan. Indian Companies now pay equivalent to any foreign country (except USA) for most of the trades. If a carpenter stays in a village, is he is skillful his earning is just sufficient enough to have two square meals. If he is in town, may earn double that. He can earn 10 times more if he is in city like Bangalore where there is a construction boom. If he has the knowledge about making furnitrues he gets even better salary.
A bank clerk gets between $800 to $1000 in nationalized bank. In private banks it is even more.
Highly paid jobs are obviously found in Information Technology industry (computer software & hardware).
Of late BPOs are paying quite well for undergraduates and this had a direct bearng on social transformation whether it is good or not. Consumerism has reached its peak, with greater purchasing power for young people.
So, it depends on the skill of a person, employment opportunities and payments are available. If the difference in the salary is 40% more in US, then it is negligible because the cost of living in US is much much higher and increase in salary there will eat up the income on cost of living. Therefore motherland is offering excellent job opportunities.
