What is the best weapon in RS?

There is no "Best Weapon". Each weapon has its advantages & disadvantages. If it hits hard its probably slow, If its fast it dosen't hit hard or it isn't very accurate. You have to chose your weapon by what your fighting. If your pking & your opponent is using prayer for protection then the dragon skimmies special or the anchient mace can hit them. If your fighting metal dragons you want something with a high crush. So on & so forth.

You can try looking on Rune-HQ they do a pretty good job of listing each creatures weaknesses. Many higher level players actually try out different weapon types on the different monsters to judge which is the most effective & then submit their results.

Jagex isn't going to make a weapon with too much of an advantage over the others. If they did everyone would get it & the rest would become useless.

I can't say a "best" weapon in runescape, because every weapon can be both useful and useless. Some weapons are undoubtedly stronger than others...yet unbearably slow. Some weapons hit rapidly, yet unbearably weak. SO if you're looking for a decent weapon, get one that isn't to slow but deals decent damage. A scimitar and whip might be some good examples of a decent weapon.

But by the way, there is a best wep for other ones and its definite- Ancient staff or obby staff for mages and dark/crystal bow for rangers. However i prefer d baxe.

hi, i think that the best weapon in runescape is the gragon dagger p++ or iven the dragon scimitar.the whip is good to but it is only for attack, for non members the best weapon is the rune scimitar.

If you are a non-member, It would probably be the rune scimitar, but I prefer the rune two-hander for the final hit. In the members worlds, it is difficult to say. The Abyssal whip is good if you do not care about training strength, if you do, the dragon halberd or dragon scimitar. This is all assuming you are talking about meelee combat.
