I'd recommend you use only one antivirus for real-time protection. You can use as many engines as you like for on-demand scanning, but there are plenty available online. You'd be just as well off using those. Here is one of my unfinished blogs, with links to a few of my favorite online scanners: http://onestopsecurity.blogspot.com/ Hope this helps!

By the way, do you use antispyware and firewall? You need those too.

I agree that it helps to have a great spyware cleaner. It definitely speeds up the computer after clearing the computer of all the rubbish.

It's also good for prevention. But the best you can do is lock everything down ( http://invincible-windows.blogspot.com/ ). A lot of what's out there nowadays is much more dangerous and harder to remove.

I have known people who have done this, but I would certainly not recommend it.
In many cases you could run 2 antivirus programs without a major conflict, although the potential of such conflicts is always present. There is also the issue of utilising far too much in the way of system resources by having 2 programs trying to scan each email or document etcetera.

There will be conflict if you used two antivirus in one computer system. I suggest that you use one antivirus per machine.
You can download Avira AntiVir Personal Classic Edition for free at www.free-av.com
I also suggest that you use Firefox or Opera as your main browser. Your windows firewall should always be turned ON as much as possible. :-)

no need of using two antivirus in one system. a good antivirus is enough to protect a system.like nod32 is a very good antivirus software
