as we all know, donating blood is our obligation as a citizen, and actually it does no harm to our health to donate approaprite amount of blood.but the problem is,sometimes there is a danger of contagious of diseases.in fact,I ever wanted to donate blood, but because I am too thin, then they did not let me donate.compared with the benefit and bad effect, what will you do?

I'm sorry but the ONLY people I'm "obligated" to donate my blood to is my children..and yes I have 3 times when my son was alive because he needed it within days of his birth and again later on..

Yes, I have, and it was the most unpleasant experience for me, especially as the line laid on my hand and had a very funny and unpleasant sensation. I would like to donate blood in the future for someone in need, but I guess I would first have to overcome that unpleasant sensation.

Yes. I am a regular donor. I donate blood once every 3 months. Donating blood is a good thing. We are actually saving lives. Medical facilities are good in my nation. We have good hygiene too. Chances of contracting contagious disease should be low.
By the way, I am going for my 9th donation soon. =D
