What Techniques Do You Use to Relieve Stress?

What stress busters do you use? I like to listen to music it calms me.

I take a timeout, rest, check for proper nutrition and then reflect. And if still worried about situation, I turn it all over to Jesus my Lord and believe Him for strength in my weaknesses.

I write in my journal. I write down exactly what it is that I am stressing about. I even swear at people in the journal,something I would not do in reality. After that I write down the reason I am stressing about something. The rule I set for myself for writing in my journal is that I can't deny things and, I can't lie or avoid any feeling when I am writing in my journal. It really is therepy for me. I even write my true prayers in my journal. When I have an extremely stressful day, I jokingly refer to it as a 3, 4, 5 etc. page day. I have been journaling for about 5 years now and it really works for me. It halps me to put things into perspective. By the time I am done writing I realize the things I am stressing over are not worth the increased heart rate LOL.

hello,vmenard! stress?hearing light music,devotional songs,gives much relief.watch comedy cinema,or read joke books also helps a lot to be relieved of stress.go out side for a long walk and attend laughing club and laugh loudly with friends daily in the morning because laughter reduces stress hormone in our body.no drinks and no smoking.all these helped me a lot at the time of my problems.besides i have changed my life style and food habits.thank you and be happy.
