Do you like Darcy? Why?

Darcy is such a character with good temper and friendly attitude and he is also kind hearted.I like him because he is an excellent man.

Well in the beginning of the novel, Darcy does seem to be an arrogant jerk, I especially didn't like the comment he makes about Elizabeth's looks while at the party in the beginning of the novel, or that he is the reason Bingley has second thoughts about Jane. However, in the end of the novel you see how much about Darcy we do not know and end up loving his character.

I quite agree with you.At first,his pride and unfriendly manner seems unagreeable so we can not like him much.But just see how he changed in the end,I nearly can not believe it's the same person.So much change from the beginning that I'm afraid in the end he has become almost a perfect man.And I believe that's the most precious of this character,he realizes his disadvantage and tried his best to improve it,and it is really impressing.So I love Darcy very much and I think we should all learn from him.

Yes, I like Darcy very much. But I do not like his pride way at the first part of the novel. I think although he comes from a noble family, heshould be modest in any way. He should know that it is good luck to have a girl like Elizabeth to love him.
