Radio announcement: Numerous tanks are filing in and..

Ok..what would you do..if you turned on your radio or television and sounding through the radio was a breaking news alert or flashing across the scened were the large letters that read: "Breaking News"
As you listened a broadcaster announced your city was no longer a democratic free city and that the whole country was now under a dictatorship imposed by invading armies.. Moreover ..anyone who had two cars was to turn over the second one to city hall and you were no longer allowed to use media or the internet without first applying a special monitoring filter.
How would you feel if you found out your country was taken over and what would you do??

Hi littlefranciscan! If that happened to us here in our country, I would still be calm about it because I have my family to consider. I will follow all the new laws and regulations because I will be thinking of the safety of the children in my family. If I am single, then that is a different case because if I wouldn't be looking after the children's welfare and safety, I would be joining the rebel groups who would fight for the freedom and democracy. Just my thoughts. Take care and have a nice day! :)

I think I wouldnt be able to do such a thing ..to fight..I don't like bloodshed and killing another person..would to me ...seem something impossible to do. Glad you are brave; let's hope it never happens..this thing.

Save the tanks, cars and invading armies, that's pretty much where I feel we are at today! The erosion of civil rights, the decimation of the constitution, a lawless government, rigged elections, etc... I just don't know what to do.

Sounds like you are nobly loyal and that is so beautiful that you would take arms to fight off invaders.
