Walk yourself to a great day!

Walking, as every one knows, is a good way to exercise,and these days, a lot of people are getting to realise it's benefits. I belong to a small township in the southernmost part of India, where the pollution level is low as compared to most other big cities. Our small town boasts of a historical monument, a magnificent fort with a moat, constructed centuries back, by the erstwhile Mysore ruler, Hyder Ali,father of Tipu Sultan. The town officials have now converted the area around the fort into a beautiful paved walkway. Early morning walks are sheer bliss at this picturesque place! For one, on a clear day, we get a panoramic view of the far away mountains with their silvery,cloud-topped peaks... a sight to die for! moreover, the walkway is surrounded by green manicured lawns, dotted by bushy trees and flowering bushes.A couple of ducks wade their way around the moat joyfully, and you may even catch a glimpse of a harmless water snake that glides around gracefully in the water of the moat. All that fresh, crisp, pure air around you to breath in, is clearly a bonus! In my opinion, mornings are the time when we are at our best, and are free of tensions and pressures, and that is the perfect time to plan a successful day ahead. A good morning walk will definitly help you come to terms with yourself and tackle the days challenges with a calm disposition. Do give it a try. i promise you won't be disappointed.

well correctly said, walking is one of the most important and usefull things as far as i go i am very lazy and cant get up in the morning,, ironically when i was very samll i used to do it with my friends, but now i dont do it anymore thnx and tc

lazyness is one thing which is inherant in me. so i do know the problems associated with waking up early in the morning. it took me a long while to just convince myself that what i am going to do is good for me. and in my case, it was the health angle that motivated me. i am an obese person and i kept hearing about how obesity affects your heart and all... maybe that has conquered my lazyness. try it out atleast once or twice a week, for start.
