Santa Claus parade?

Our Santa Claus parade is tonight and my kids are so excited. Afterwards there is a snack at the arena where you have hot chocolate and cookies and get your picture taken with Santa for free. It is a lot of fun.
Where we used to live the parade came much earlier at the end of November. It was always on a Saturday morning. Now our town has theirs the first friday night in December. I much prefer it this way. I'm more in the christmas spirit and the parade is so nice at night with all the lights.
Have you had your parade yet? Is it at night or in the day? Is there anything special afterwards?

That sounds like great fun. I live in a small town and we have no parade. Santa is coming tomorrow to the resort I work at though. They are having lunch with Santa. Every kid will get a present too.
