My girlfriend regularly suffered with bad circulation, extreme tiredness and chronic pain and she had been going to the doctors regularly for tests so they could try and diagnose what was wrong with her. Eventually, after several tests, they diagnosed her as having fibromyalgia. They said that the cause of this was from a problem which she had suffered with when she was 12, she is now 33. When she was twelve she had gone on holiday abroad and caught some kind of unknown illness. They still don't know to this day what that illness was, but it was very severe. She had a blood clot on her spine and an infection on her nervous system and she was paralyzed from the neck down. The doctors are now saying that this is what has caused her fibromyalgia. Does anyone know any information on this illness or what this illness could have possibly been?
