Okay, why do you think you are reading this? I made it say that to give you a laugh if you haven't had one yet today!!!
What I miss is her using on her little step stool while we brush her hair, her teeth, bake cookies so that she would be taller than the counter! She is so tall now (7 yrs old) and she doesnt' need the little stool anymore to get up higher than the counter! Matter of fact, I was recently brushing her hair into a high pony tail and I had to ask her to sit on the toilet so that she'd be down lower so I could get to the top of her head!!! They grow up entirely to fast!!! Happy laughing day!

You got me, too. Yes, I can very much totally relate. My youngest is coming home tonight after being gone since Easter. He says he's 6' 2" but I think he's grown a good inch since his last official measurement. I practically get a crick in my neck looking up at him! In fact, I call him my human step stool. When he's home I always call him to reach things for me instead of grabbing for my own stool. He teases me by bending his knees to make himself shorter - and then still reaching what I need on the high shelf!

Bet you'll be glad to see him - even tho it is "way up thar!" And it is nice that they tease or joke with us about it. At least they show they love us!

My little 18mo Gd looks so much like her daddy when he was that age (except for the cute little mouth) that I am always calling her by his name! I am just sent back in time to often when I look at her and see him! Spooky in a way but sure do love those memories! It is absolutely uncanny how much they look alike! som 20 something years apart
