What Christmas means to you?

It is December this month. And Chritmas is in the air. What is Christmas to you. For me, Christmas today is not anymore for Jesus, Christmas would never be for Jesus. Christmas today is all about material things. How about you?

For me, Christmas is all about gift-giving and love-sharing.

But majority of people today don't know the real meaning of Christmas. Like making troubles, wars, killings and misunderstandings. For other people, Christmas don't matter much to them.

Despite the marketing trying to make Christmas all about 'getting', Christmas to me will always be about the birth of Jesus. Of course Jesus wasn't born on the day of December 25th, but that is they day we celebrate His birth. It humbles me to know what He did for us and then I look around to what we have all become about and I am humbled once again.

It sounds like the first part of your paragraph contradicts what you said in the second part of your paragraph. I don't completely understand which side you come down on, but it is a good discussion anyway.
