What Is A Best Friend?

to me, a best friend is someone who is there for you always. through thick and thin - no matter what. and who doesn't try and stab you in the back or anything. and of course you should trust your best friends. my best friends are my sister and my boyfriend. i love them both and trust them both completely with everything that i have. i know they'll both always be there for me.

My own definition of a friend is a female or male that I can talk to about anything at anytime.

Hi Sweets, Of course you are one of my very good friends... I have a couple of what I would call best friends.. first is my friend Evie that I started school with and played with from infancy...We are closer then sisters and love each other dearly! My friend Linda is the daughter of my sister's hubby's sister..whatever you call it..We grew up as family and got into alot of mischief together..We once stole a horse from a boy she had a crush on and we rode him bareback-double all through the town..She really got Jonny's attention that day!! he he Next my friend Nona..We became friends in the late 60's..I haven't seen her in 30 + years but she will always be in my heart.. My friend Shell is the friend that I see the most..She lives about an hour from me but we see each other often and speak almost daily.. My friends Dee and husband Richard are like family to me. We missed each other so much when I was on the west coast and they on the east that I invited them to come live with me in Calif...We have been close for over 40 years..We speak often and email daily..They live a 2 hour flight from me.. My friend Mary and I became close when we both moved here to the Adirondacks which was in the late 70's.. We had our kids around the same times so we were together alot..and we are tree huggers and hippy types.. xoxoxoxoxo
