What do you consider a toxic person?

We've all had to deal with people we don't like. It's pretty much a fact of life that there will just be people that we don't get along with. However, those people can relatively be dealt with, especially with a lot of ignoring. I'm concerned about people that you've been around, or have or had in your life, that just kind of ruin your life because of how they act, and expect things to be. For you, what do you consider a toxic person? Is it a bitter person that blames everyone and everything for their problems without trying to fix them? Or is it someone that always manages to get you trapped in whatever plots they are currently working up and then getting you into trouble? Or how about something completely different. What do you consider a toxic person?

i concider a toxic person who can lead you into somthing not good,sinful acts as some would say...someone who trys to get you to do vertin thing that you normally wouldnt do that that is bad..

Hello highfliyingxangel. I used to have this kind of colleagues, who spoke bad words against me behind my back because of being jealousy of what I have achieved in my work and my being valued by my boss. What I could do to deal with them is to ignore them as I would not be happier if I had to. They would know the reason why I ignore them...Thanks for your topic.

Well Toxic substances are typically harmful substances.
So one would figure a Toxic person to be a harmful person.
While I understand what you are saying about someone you just don't get along with can be dealt with...that doesn't make this person toxic. For instance, if you are allergic to cats you can deal with it by taking allergy medicines. This doesn't make it okay to be around cats because technically you are still allergic. Being around someone you dislike is toxic because it makes you more negative than you would be when you aren't around them.
Sometimes you can't help being around toxic people. Maybe you work with them. Maybe you live near them. etc. So, like in the case of being allergic to cats, you can do something (take allergy medicine) to at least make it semi less toxic.
For instance, I work with someone whom I can't stand. My hours are different from hers so I don't really have to work with her or see her...and I pretty much try my best to pretend she doesn't exist.

People who are always instigating, always talking behind peoples backs, complaining, getting out of work and not getting in trouble.
