Was it an angel?

I could not say anything at all though. i dont know what really happened with that. maybe it was already there... or just been there to remind you that HE is always there in times that we least expected HIM to be. It was a wonderful reminder to all of us... to be aware that there are things that we can never explain...no matter how intelluigent human are... and taht is miracles by GOD.

I think this was a special blessing for you my friend, I think you needed a special touch from the Lord at this time. We are living in a very stressful era and we need to be reminded to slow down and just take time out to pray or read a 'special book' and it is a time of reflection with Christmas around the corner to think of family and friends, those with us or those who have passed on. I remember when my daughter was about 3yrs old we were having a very stressful time in the family and everything seemed to be going wrong and prayer was put on the backburner (as it sometimes does in times of stress) everybody went to bed in a grumpy mood, about 2am in the morning my daughter tugged on my bedclothes and told me to come into her bedroom, I didn't have a clue why, what she told me brought me to tears, she said "I pretty lady in blue with a light around her head was in her room and that she had woken her up, she had told her that everything would be ok" I knew then that we had been a bit remiss in our prayer time and had let things get in the way. My daughter to this day and she is 35 still remembers the pretty lady. There are a lot of things we don't understand in the spiritual world but my way of checking is that if they make you feel good they are good if they make you feel uncomfortable or sick, they most likely are not from God. I am in the same boat as you as our furnace quit working right before my husband went to jail, (He is in there for driving without his license) and he tried to fix it but couldn't. So I only have 2 heaters and the oven to keep warm and I go stay with my mom once a week. I would stay with her more but I have animals to take care of and refuse to leave them for too long. Anyway it seemed as though that after my husband went to jail in October everything has gone down hill. All of my electricity has been going off one by one and I flicked all of the breakers and it still wouldn't come back on. Anyway I was just sitting here earlier and something told me to check the breakers and flip them again, and when I did everything came back on. I mean before I had the living room and the bathroom worked still and the kitchen but everything in the computer room quit working but now it is all back on Thank God and my water even thawed out so I was able to get the dishes done and I am getting ready to take a bath. It felt like a miracle to me that everything is working fine now and also my husband will be home soon because they are getting ready to shut the county jail down because they can't afford to keep it up anymore. And all of this is because I started praying even harder and with the right motive. I started reading the Bible, which I have never done before and it seems as though this is His way of saying "Hey I hear you and am watching over you" I think what happened to you is His way of saying that to you too. Just a friendly reminder! God does work in mysterious ways. It is also a reminder that we must keep our Faith and always trust in Him! :)

Hi littlefranciscan! It must be an angel! I believe that your angel is with you all the time, protecting and guiding you in all your day to day activities. Aren't you lucky my friend? I guess your angel may be reminding you to pray a ceratin prayer in that prayerbook. So, I think it is your angel unless you are sleepwalking at nights. LOL! Take care and have a nice day. :)
