It sounds like a silly discusion, but I just want to know that is anyone here wash your hair after a long long time.
You know, in the winter, it's very cold and some place maybe below zero degree. Then washing will be a problem. For me, I wash my hair every two days in the cold winter. Sometimes every three days in the very cold weather. I have heard that there're some people wash their hair or body one month a time. Because it's really cold where they live.
And what about you? How long do you wash your hair in the winter?

I wash my hair every other day in the winter time. But in the summer time I wash it every day. My hair is real thick and takes forever to dry!

I usually wash my hair every day, regardless of the season. Sometimes I'll skip a day and shower the next day, but it's when I don't do much of anything and I can allow my hair to become dirty. Allowing your hair to become dirty is actually good for your hair, it allows all the oils in your hair to reach the ends of your hair to keep it moisturized. So, I look at it this way, if I have a lazy day and let my hair become dirty, at least it's a good thing.

It doesn't matter to me if it is winter or summer. I wash my hair every second day. I have to because my scalp gets so itchy if I don't wash it. In the winter I wash it in the evening when I know I will be in the house for several hours after. I don't think it would be a good idea to wash and then go outside with it even damp. It gets to 40 below here and it would freeze on your scalp in a matter of minutes. You would get very sick. In the summer I watch my hair in the mornings. Then I like to go outside on a sunny warm day, to let my hair dry under the sun. I like the feel of it better that way and it looks nicer.

I live in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. It is the coldest city in Canada and our nickname is Winterpeg. Our winters last about 5 to 6 months and are very windy and cold.

I wash my hair every other day. In the winter I just make sure that my hair is dry or I will blow dry it before going outside. I live in one of those places where it can be really cold in the winter. But when going out I also wear a hat so that I won't catch a cold.

I don't have a set "hair-washing schedule". Sometimes I wash it every day and sometimes I only wash it every other day. I never go more than one day without washing it because then it feels dirty and I can't sleep if my hair feels dirty to me. It's just one of those things that bugs me.

Well, my hair is quite long so it kind of takes a lot of time to do it. Therefore I wash it every other day. But I have to confess, sometimes when it gets really cold, I skip a day. I try to wash it as early as possible and not at the evening because it's warmer in the afternoon and there's more time for it to dry. I don't usually blow dry my hair because I hear heat is bad for your hair and it makes it dry and weak.

I have a long hair too, so it's a matter to take good care of, especailly in winter. I'm a lazy girl, sometimes when it gets really cold, I skip a day too...hahaha...and you're right that heat is bad for hair, making it dry and weak, so I don't usually blow dry my hair too...
