Review Stream Excepted My Review

So, awhile back I heard about Review Stream. I went there and did half a dozen reviews. Then I never heard from them. Well, I kept hearing about them. They let you review anything and they pay $1.50 for reviews that are "accepted" and those denied they will pay 0.30 for. Well, when I say anything...I mean ANYTHING. You can review your new car, your insurance company, your toothpaste, the restaurant you went to last night, Your Spouse! So, I thought...it doesn't take much time, so if it really works it will be worth it. I went back. Submitted a single review (on my new Magic Bullet blender which I love). This time I got a confirmation e-mail (maybe something went wrong last time...). I waited the 72 hours they told me it would take to get the review accepted and got nothing... Well...sometime in the night (reaching toward the fourth day), I got the e-mail saying that I was accepted and I now had 1.50 in my account. I think payout is at ten. We will find out if they really pay soon enough. I feel confident that they will though. They don't have a referral program because you don't have an account there, so it doesn't seem like people would be dishonest about it. Time will tell...

If I were you I wouldn't write for them. Did you how much must you have before you can withdraw money from them, it's $50. Try reading there faq section. It is better to focus your writing skill on your own blog and you will see that in the right time, it could yield good amount of income.

Thanks for the advice. I do write for my own blog, actually several of my own blogs. I just like to have a nice variety of things I am doing. I also like to see what everything is about. It has been an interesting study. If you are fast enough though you could do enough reviews to make $50 in a week or so... The real question comes down to whether or not they pay!

Nope this site is definitely not a scam. People are getting paid by them each and every day. There are a number of other sites where you can make a lot of money as well (I am averaging $500 a month so far and looking at increasing that into a full time income of about $4000 a month). I would say that I am smart enough to get a real job (at target or something since that is actually where I worked last) and probably a lot of other somewheres...However, I am smart enough to make it online and make it work. In addition to that right now I would spend more to have my son in day care then I would actually make with that real job. But then, I plan on making a living with my husband from the Internet.

Ever heard of getting paid by just merely searching the web? Message me. I'll give you a link. And man, they pay you in pounds.

I already forgot about it since last week, I submitted my review and I just remembered that I submitted a review just now. To my surprise, when I search on the cosmetics category of review stream. I found my review there and I am so happy that my review got accepted and now I have $1.50. but I have to work on it for me to earn $50. I think it will take a long time for me to reach it but if they will really pay me it will all be worth it. :)

I have written 6 or 7 reviews for them now. They are good about tell you how much you have in your account when you send them the email. What I want to know is about the voting. It says that you get 10 cents for every vote that you receive. There is a different payout limit for votes and there is no way to find out how much they owe you in votes unless you go back and count them all yourself. And do they just automatically pay you when you reach their minimum for votes? I guess I will just keep writing and hope for the best!

I posted 2 reviews today and got confirmation emails but am now having to wait for acceptance and 72 hours seems like a heck of a long time! I have 2 more reviews ready but am waiting to see if the way I write is acceptable first, then I will keep writing and will try to get a stream of income out of Review Stream

I think the comment about being precise and personal is in all of them. Even my $2 ones have said that! It is as if their e-mail isn't very precise or personal.

My first 2 were accepted at the bulk rate. The email said I should try to be more precise and personal. I think I was very precise and personal in my reviews, but I will wait to see how the next 3 do. Even $0.40 per review is better than nothing but it will take a lot longer to reach payout if that is all I get.

On reviewstream, it is very hard, at the moment at least, to get the current rate of $2, and most of the time you will end up getting the bulk rate (.40) at the most, sometimes your reviews are rejected, (being at least 200 words and decently written) just because they don't feel like it, and the rejection is almost always the same (try to be more descriptive next time). When you are more descriptive next time, they will still say the same thing. However, Reviewstream lets you write a review on almost anything, so I guess it isn't too bad, especially now; if your review is accepted, they will pay you more (even if it's only on the bulk rate option), than Ciao, (although at Ciao, you do get small amounts of residual earnings, but the lion's share of money is from the bonuses you get from publishing it.

I would advise looking around the net a bit more. Check out: "http://www.writinghood.com/writing/why-you-shouldnt-bother-writing-for-review-stream.321429". While some people may be making money off review stream, many are not and I have found that once you start trying to get answers from them, they get very nasty. If you look at the article comments, you will see that not only did someone claiming to be review stream write some nasty comments, but then someone else with the same poor English then posted a number of very personal attacks as well (very suspicious)! Overall, I have found them to be horrible to deal with and I would advise anyone against writing for them.
