If the Duggar family can raise a family with 17 children, I think you will do just fine with 9. Here is the website with information of the Duggars. http://www.duggarfamily.com/ On the website it has some great recipes on it. I only have 2 kids, and sometimes I feel like I have my hands full with them both. I honestly don't know how anyone with more than 2 do it with each one fighting for your attention all the time.

i know a family also that has 9 kids...they are very well behaved and the older ones look after the younger ones. they shop at sales and hold down part time jobs (such as delivering fliers and newspapers) the husband works full time while the mom stays home. although i have nothing against having more children (if you can sustain them, why not?) but have you thought of adopting? there are so many needy kids out there!!!!) my sister in law adopted 2 baby girls from china and these girls would just be stuck in an orphanage.

Wow...you are a super MOM! Go for it STACY, adding one to the family is NO BIG DEAL, comparing to the eight(8) children you already have! I wish I started raising children at a younger age like you...How old are you when you have your first child? Mine was when I was 24.My eldest is now eleven(11) yrs old and the other is just 4 months. Both boys. I wish to have a girl too, hope my FACTORY is still productive LOL! Goodluck to a happy family!

If you can afford it and thats what you truly want, I say go for it! I have always wanted a big family but I think I will only have four or five. I was the only child so I have how lonely it can get but you will never get bored with a big family. How many boys and girls do you have each?

I imagine you are a blended family since you are still very young according to your profile. As far as baby number 9 is concerned it is a very personal decision. As long as you have the financial means to allow each of your children to pursue some training, college, or university after High School in order for them to be able to earn a decent living in adult live it is your own business to have as many children as you like.

Wow.. kudos to you. I have three kids and I can't imagine having anymore. My thoughts on this are that if you have the means to have another and you really want to, by all means do so! Babies are wonderful, I just don't think I could handle another.

Well, if you can handle another child both financially as well as emotionally, then why not? Oh, and how does your S/O feel about having another baby? And what about your kids? Do they all like the idea or are they less than thrilled about it?

Holy crap!!! That's alot of babies. Lol Just getting that out of the way. But I know a lady who has eight or nine kids and she home schools them and I'm actually envious of her. She always seems to be at peace. But if you guys can financially support number nine and this is what you feel is right for your famiy and for you go for. I love big families. I just couldn't deal with more than the two I have personally. Lol

You are lucky to have eight children while others have none. The problems may arise after delivery is uterine atony because your uterus may not be able to contract anymore because you have overuse your uterus. It will cause severe bleeding that may eventually lead your doctor to remove your uterus. It will also cause massive transfusion of blood.also, you may acquire placenta accreta which would also eventually lead to hysterectomy

If you can afford another one and your hubby agrees, I see on reason not to. For me 9 would be too many. I have only one and just with the activities he has I feel like ripping my hair out. We want to have another one, but that is still at least 2-3 more years off.

Second of all, i'd like to say, YOU ARE CRAZY!! lol how do you keep track of 8 kids ????? I dont wish to walk a day in your shoes that's all i ahve to say. But if you can afford it, and its what you really want, i suppose after 8 kids, one more isn't much more trouble is it??!?! lol. What made you decide to have so many kids ?! i just can't get over that. i'm sorry. haha good luck whatever you decide to do stacy!

i think that as long as you can handle it financially and emotionally go for it. If you are taking care of your kids and they are having a good life, then no one should tell you you have to stop.

As long as you can afford it (which is pretty easy when you have a system going), go for it! I was one of ten and so far I have seven, though a few are grown, one on the way by way of my sister, and hopefully another one. The more the merrier. Growing up one of a bunch definitely is different, but you learn things much faster and develop responsibility and good sense much more solidly than most of your peers. My sister and I did all of the cleaning, cooking, shopping, teaching, etc, but it made caring for my own so much easier. Good luck! Blessed Be

If you can afford it financially, and have a lot of time so that the oldest don't have to raise the youngest, I have only one thing to say: GO FOR IT!!! I want a big family myself, but I'm not sure if I can handle 9 pregnancies!

If you get one child raised in the ways of the Lord you are truly blessed indeed. With how this world is having such a negative influence on our children.Sadly I am not there yet my child has not come into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. ( That many I have no answer for to be honest )
