In Australia, mainly in the big cities we do have some homeless people and beggars.
I either give food, or money, or blankets or whatever it is that they need or are asking for.
Sometimes I am reluctant to give money as they may be addicts, and I'd much rather supply food and clothes.

I think many countries have such people who asking money on the street, they are poor and can't earn money ,we should help them and i think the goverment should do more things to help them not let the people do the favor .
but i also hear that some people who asking money can get many money and just treat the asking money as a good job and live in a big house.

Yes, In my country some people may stand or sit beside the
street to ask money! Some of them are very old with white hair but some are young !When I have enough money ,I always give some to those old people! In my opinion, young men should try their best to find a job, they can live by their own!!

Oh, absolutely. We have a serious homeless problem here in the U.S. And I live in Southern California, where the sun shines most of the time. As a result, a lot of homeless people live here. I get asked for money almost every day. The vast majority of homeless people have either substance abuse problems or mental illness or both. Many of them need to be treated, and, if they were, would be able to lead productive lives. The only problem is that in order to be treated, they need to give their consent. It's illegal to force them to be treated. But, most of them cannot make an informed decision because they are impaired. It's a real problem, a real dilemma.
