classical singing, need location of free online classical singing statons

A couple of years ago, I found a classical online station that specialized in classical singing from medieval to modern, mostly sacred, opera and art. A few months ago, I looked for it and found that now you need a subscription in order to listen to it. I was wondering if anyone knows of a free classical online station that plays opera, art, and sacred classical music?

Classic FM and BBC 4 are online. Both are free. Hope this is what you wanted. I'm also a classical music fan and listen to Classic FM all the time.

Yes that is what I wanted. There was a program that featured vocal classical singing, opera, and the like. but then they started to charge for it. They used to have a whole opera every evening around eight pm and I really missed it. I will look for those stations. I really enjoy classical rather than popular music, and I especially enjoy sacred as well as opera. I am a Bach fan.

Free and online.That may be hard to find. I have cable and I can hear comerical free music from the cable box.I hope you find the station you are looking for. Good Luck.

That would be a handy site if it existed. I don't have a budget for subscriptions and it is kind of the norm on the net to have free stuff. I hope there is one and you find it and write about it too. Cheers!!

Wow that is intersting. I never heard of anything like that. OUr station has just art songs once a week.

There is lots of popular stations, but except for CBC here in Canada, we hardly get to hear classical. And the one classical station online I liked is now charging. But I did find another. But most are in Europe.
