Do you think that music influences our children? or do you beleive that it does not more so then it does? i beleive that it all depends on what type of child you have...and even in some adults i believe they are influenced by their music, like if you are going through a hard time you just found out your husband was cheating on you.. you hear a good song about chesting husband and the chicks getitng enough strength to kick them out and make their life better and your sitting there like yeah thats probally what i should be doing... then you get home and you like get your sh~t and get out!.lol and all because you listen to that song it pumped you up to do what was best for you.... Now i know they say that music can influence children in a bad way... but what about the songs that influence kids in a good way? they never really get reconized, thoes songs that they listen to and there dancing around and singing. and then start to feel better about themselves...ive seen it first hand..~ what do you think about the influence of music?

I believe music has a positive influence on kids. My nephews both play instruments. The oldest plays the cello. Among my nieces we have a violin and a french horn, along with a trumpet. The radio is almost always on. my daughter loves to put on performances sing dances and smiles. music makes for a happier place.

Yes music has a strong influence for many children and adults. Speaking from a young adults perspective here.. I have been a huge metal head for most of my teen years. Not only do I go to my music to find some calm, but I really live by some of the lyrics in my favorite songs. I also believe that the way I dress, think and even make friends is influenced by the type of music I listen to. To me, its not a bad thing, I have learned a lot of values from these bands writings and the music has helped me get through a lot in my life. I don't think I would be who I am today, without the influence from music. I have two young brothers ( age 5 and 8) and as I watch them get older and become interested in new things, I have noticed that what they are surrounded by influences them a lot. Not only music, but television shows and even people. They constantly quote things they hear on tv, and while playing they try to act big and tough like their favorite super hero. One of my brothers enjoys kids bop, which is a compilation of todays popular songs, sung by kids. Since he got that CD I really believe hes been more confident and outgoing. In my humble opinion, If there were no music in the world, it would be a much more horrible (and boring) place than it already is. -Claidissa

Music is a HUGE thing with me and my children as well...I've been a very avid music lover since I was very young and my kids are the same way...That being said I can honestly say that I dont think there has ever been a song or genre of music that has been a "bad" influence on me or them really...I mean even the darkest of songs (which I've been known to love LOL) have a good impact on my life and on occasion the kids lives too... I think definately music influences us but I could never see how it could be a bad thing....though I suppose for some maybe its possible but in this house it's not been that way :-)

I think all music yes indeed does have an impact on us, but i think that most bad things that are blamed on music mistake what music or "song" means, because most music that may sound bad actually have a veary good reason behind them and if the listner knew this reason i think it would not influence them to to bad things.. untill they send out meanings of song with every cd bad things will happen and people will blame it on music because its an easy target these days.its easier to blame it on someone or somthing else other then yourself. I love music and i am thanksful i like all music because before i had my daughter i listen to not kid suitable music. NOW my daughter is little and i can get away with still listening to what i like, like staind,nickleback,maroon5,one republic.stuff like that and nothing they sing is bad well except for one song...nickleback, i like your pant around your feet or i like the powder on ur nose.. lol she doesnt listen to that.

Music absolutely influences children and adults. How much depends on the person, but I have seen it plenty of times. When a child is upset, a soft lullabye can soothe him. When they are kind of restless, some music to dance to helps them release energy in constructive ways. When they are having trouble listening or focusing, singing what you want to say to them gets their attention. Music helps us remember things more easily. I listen to music every day, all kinds, I sing (even though not very well) and my son responds. It is a very important part of our lives.

Anything can influence a child if you let it. You as parents are there to set limits and explain the difference between right and wrong, real and make believe and tv and reality. If you don't then no wonder Junior sees something on TV and acts it out and gets into trouble. Same thing with music. Just because Eminem can rap about killing his ex wife does not mean your child should go out and do it.

yeah , music does have the effect to the children 's sipirit world . But before they have the ability to choose the music needed and healthy ,we as the parents should help them . Take some music they can understand and try some different styles ,then . Noble historic music help them to build a joint to the great man or woman's noble spiritual world . Children will become quiet and good at thinking. Different age level chooses the different style of music . .It is also a greate art in that.

i think music really influences our human being, whether you are a children or adult. but what kind of music is the most important thing.we need different types of music on different times.as a kids, maybe they do not have the really ability to choose right type of music is suitable for them,so their parents have to help them. some children music or gentle music maybe more suitable.as we do this , kids will reconize the information we take and know what is the best and after grow up,with their oppions, they will choose by themself.

In my opinion, I think the music really influence the people. For me,as a member of Church choir, everytime we sing together we feel wonderful, and everytime when I listen to others also feel nice, that is in church.but if in the street we hear some noisy songs or music that makes me feel really bad,and if continue maybe that makes me crazy if all the time we hear about that kind of music may be we will become fractious.so good music influence good, and bad music influence bad.
