Any thoughts on this

Very profound, and oh so very true. Again we do take people for granted and expect them to be there all the time, and when they have gone, you realize how important they were too you. I have found many special people in my life, including friends on Mylot who I appreciate, well, without them I don't think I would have had the courage to leave, and my ex is one person I would love to forget!

Hi raydene! That holds true for me. It took just a minute to see how special my husband was when we just met in the university a long time ago. After that first meeting, we were able to talk alone and that time alone spent with him, made me realize how lucky I was to have found him as a friend. That time we had alone stretched for an hour and another hour and learned so much about him. The day was not over yet when I ralized that he is such a loving person whom i would really want to be with for the rest of my life. And of course, it is not really that easy to fall in love but then again I know I could have a beautiful life with him, a beautiful future I can lovingly share with him. And if the time comes that we have to be apart ( I hope not ever..), I don't think my remaining breath will be enough to forget him. Just my thoughts. Take care and have a nice day. :)

And I totally agree with this I have read this so many times before The first time I read it and I thought about it and remembered People and yes it is true xx

I should hope that our appreciation and love is deep enough to keep us from forgetting. (Even when we want to!) I have found that every person in my life has filled a certain need or place in my life and not necessarily the way I wanted! We are wired to be social and to care about others. Love brings pain, but also joy. We would be pretty blah without those feelings!

Appears to be the story of "Love at first sight". The person who can achieve all the 4 mentioned is sure to be a very nice and happy person as he sees everything in positive light. Wonderful to have such a friend.

I think that quote is so true. I meet people, from all walks of life, that I talk to and enjoy talking to. Then, all of a sudden, they leave your side and give you no reason as to why they left your side, no matter how nice you are to them. It just doesn't help matters.
