I'm 22 and I was paying $53 a month in America. It was only for liabilty but if it was for full coverage I guess it would have been in the 70's or 80's something a month. Not alot if you have a good enough job to pay for it.

I don't know how many American dollars that is, but I"m 30 and I pay bout $45 a month for full coverage on my 10 year old car. When I was 18, I think my parents paid roughly $90-120 a month for liability only insurance. I had a crappy car then. When I got my first new car, my insurance skyrocketed to over $1800 a year. Then as you get older, at least in America, and you remain accident free, it goes down. If your school or country or even your insurance agent offers any sort of Driver's Ed programs, take them. They can reduce the cost of your insurance dramatically.
