First of all let me say this - I am a Spiritualist - Spiritualism is the Science, Philosopy and religion of continuous life, based upon the demonstrated fact of communication, by means of mediumship, with those who live in the spirit world. www.nsac.org for more info. The title of your post is misleading, as I would guess you did not mean Spiritualism at all. Not all Spiritualsit believe in reincarnation, it's about half and half. Those that do, as do many other religions, belive in it because they have experienced it, have reason to know it is their personal truth, or have learned to incorporate it into their lives. Why would this bother you? Loved ones can certainly connect with those still on the earth plane and it is very beneficial and wonderful when it happens. This is proven fact. The bible.. obviously many people read the bible, however, many do not take it at face value, nor do they take the words written in it as factual. For those that do, I say wonderful, then you will be of open heart and mind and always "do unto others as you would have done unto you!" While some people do believe in ghosts, that is not the same thing as communicating with spirit. As we are ALL energy, every living thing, it is very helpful to understand the reality of being able to communicate and receive messages from those that have made their transition. Demons there are NOT - and miracles do NOT exist in my world - Natural law makes certain of that. Everything happens for a reason and in accordance with natural law. First understand that a psychic and a Medium are different things. A psychic has an awareness, an extra sensory perception. A Medium communicates with and though Spirit. All Mediums are psychic, not all psychics are Mediums. Niether one predicts the future.. that is a fortune teller and is for "show" and entertainment purposes only. People seek out reputable Mediums to communicate with loved ones, spirit guides and to gain insight and perspective. people seek out psychics to help better understand their selves, their world and for a keen awareness. The furure does not "only get worse," as you declared. Why would you think such a negative thing? As for psychics or mediums charging a nominal fee for their most valuable service.. some do some don't. Why should'nt they/ They provide a very valuable service - peace and awareness.
