i love being an only child too :) though all of my parents' attention can be suffocating sometimes, all the gifts, pampering, and the love are mine too, so i can't complain :)

I enjoyed being an only child, until there was no one else to blame the broken object on. I liked the quiet time to myself and even though I'm married I still enjoy that time alone. I think it helps you be more self sufficient, at least it's served me well that way. My family wasn't into spoiling a child, but I think I really got enough of what I needed.
