get a psychology course...you have to have a broad mind in this field...i am a psychology student at the present and i will tell you,you have to prepare yourself for a lot of research and theories...this field of work will require your full dedication as a psychologist...you must have the passion for psychology in order to last in this field...it's not that hard to study psychology...as a matter of fact,it's fun...people will have this impression that you are a deep thinker...hehehe...so if u have any other questions about psychology, you can feel free to ask me...i'll add you up...have a nice day!

how old are you?
if you make your decision.the key of the success is holding on.at the first, you should read a lot of books about the psychology.and the best you should go to school to accept the system education.the second after your study you should do a lot practice to get the experience.finally you can be a psychologist.sure it is not a simple way.all you need to do is cling to study and practise.

What makes a good psychologist is not taught by books .
But by going to those domestic violence shethers; homeless
shelthers etc... Is learning by doing being among thier
mist.Seeing their hurt thier pain thier wounds etc ...
Allowing yourself to become a part of them from your heart
from your inner Spirit = a good psychologist.Sadly they are truly hard to find many are in for the money benfits not the person benfits.

To be a psychologist, you must be willing and eager to learn about various topics. There are numerous fields in it. But first off, you have to decide whether you want an AB or BS course.
Here's the link to some of the Fields of Psychology:

You also have to take in part your priorities. Are you in it for your own personal superiority or do you really want to help others? If you do, it's all about research. Making theories and verifying them.
I hope that this helps you. Good luck!
