Writing discussions on mylot just for sake of it..!!!!

What do feel about people who just write discussions here in mylot just for sake of it..!!
They just wanted to start a discussion so they starts a discussion on silly topics..!!
And when we tell them that this topic is a very old one to start a discussion with, they answer me as .."I just started the discussion just for sake of it"..!!!
Now I guess thats why the qualitry of mylot is remarkably decreasing now days..!! I don't get a single topic to respond in. Mylot is full of such discussions now. Pointless discussions.
DOn't you think that mylot's quality is really decreasing down??

Not all mylotters do that. There are some people I know who post discussion topics, whcih are feast to read. In fact I will be waiting for their topics. I can mention a few user ids like Perspectives of Canada, Williamsijir of China, Mimphi, NR Satish from India, they post very qualitatives discussion topics. I am sure there may be thousands of mylotians whose discussios are simply superb. So do not generalize. REgards.

Well may be you're correct but whenever I see the "todays top discussions" section I don't find a single discussions to repond in..!!
Now is it I am becoming too demanding or..whatever..!!
Even "todays new discussions" sectiona has no such good discussions now how can I find the "treasure" of nice quality discussions?? You named some people in here but they are not in my friends list!!

All mylotians need not be and cannot be your friends. If you are genuinely interested in responding to good topics, you have to make a search, page after page. There are thousands.
Secondly what is not interesting for you, may be interesting for others. Mylot is not having a classification of subjects to help you choose the area of interest of individual members.

But see that's the thing, everyone has different opinions on what they enjoy talking about and that's part of what makes mylot work. What seems silly to you may not seem silly to someone else and what seems serious to you might seem silly to someone else. I do agree though that their are some that just make you want to scratch your head no matter how you look at it. I don't think mylot's quality is decreasing. there are still many great interest groups and good topics being started, you just have to find where they are.

I think some are like that. they start discussion in mylot just for the sake of starting a discussion.
But i can say all are not the same. There are few I have noticed who have written really well thought discussions.
May be some people want to get lots of responses, lots of ratings and earn a lot.
