what gifts do you want to receive this Christmas?

I'm asking this question hoping to be able to find ideas on what to give my friends and loved ones this Christmas. They said that if you give someone a gift that you yourself like to have for your own, it would be a great gift. I know what I like for Christmas but I'm not very sure that most people will love it. I like to receive books as gifts but not all people appreciate the beauty of books. I hope you can share your desired gifts so we can also get ideas from your wish list.
I'm sorry we can't really give the gifts that you want. I think its fun just trying to share your wishes to others.
Thanks!

But well, a gift card is also nice to have so that I can buy Apple iPod by myself.

i would like a new digital camera. I havent had one for a long time now. We are having some money problems right now but I found one at walmart for $60 and it comes with a photo printer. It's only $50 for the camera only so I think my hubby will get me that! Oh yeah and a haircut too cause my hair game is busted!

Hah, a haircut would be a great gift. I would also like a digital camera. I was actually thinking about that. I hope I can get one this Christmas.

Yes, clothes, CDs, DVDs and books are good gifts but it is hard to know sizes of clothes, likes and dislikes, what books, CDs and DVDs they already have. In these cases gift cards are the best. I would love for someone to give me a gift card to a clothing store. Since I have lost quite a bit of weight recently I need to update my wardrobe.
My husband gave me a CD last year which made me go "Huh?" Yes, he listened to it all the time. I don't care for it at all.
There are things I am tempted to buy for myself online but really don't have the money. If only my husband accessed the internet he could get those kinds of things for me - coffee mugs, tote bags, ball caps and t-shirts for budding authors. "Be nice to me or I'll put you in my novel and kill you off!" or something like that, is one of the t-shirt quotes that I like.
Knowing a person's hobbies can help. Again, gift cards to movies or shows, bowling alleys, etc. My sister and I are chipping in and giving my brother and his wife a gift card for Ticketmaster so they will buy tickets to a show they want to see and go.
One year, for my sisters, I did up gift "baskets". I say baskets in quotes because I actually used large plant pots and filled them with things like a scarf, gloves, paperback novel, foot lotion, etc.
I am not rich, so buying for all of my adult nieces and nephews is not easy. Last year I spent about $5 each. For the girls I bought at a dollar store a face cloth. In that I rolled up an emery board (nail file), hand cream and lip balm, and a pair of socks. They loved them.

Those are really nice suggestions. Simple but practical and I like that because I'm a practical person. LOL. Thanks a lot.

I really love to receive pyjamas for Christmas. I could receive a new one every year and I wouldn't be bored of it :P I also like books, cd and DVD.
But this year, I already received my gift. I received a rocking chair. I know that all the other gift I will receive will be for the baby (I'M pregnant) so that was the only gift I asked for me :)

Oh that's really great! I'm happy for you. Yeah I'm sure you'll receive gifts for the baby mostly. But that's fine because I'm sure the baby will make you really happy. Have a great day and don't forget to listen to lots of music!

I just want my family to make it home safely for Christmas. That would be the best gift of all. I really cant think of any worldly gifts that I really need. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I would like a few new movies and cd's or perhaps a gift card to my favorite stores, that way I can get exactly what I want.

I know it may sound pathetic, but I want a vacuum cleaner. I'm so sick of ours and it's inability to pick up dog hair. Anyone recommend a good one? I think those Dyson's are over-priced and just a bunch of hype! I checked consumer reports and am looking at a Sears one.
