I don't know how you've cooked it before, but I pour about a quarter cup of vinegar over it, then salt and pepper it heavily and surround it with cut up carrots, onions and potatoes. Put a lid on and roast it at around 350 until it's tender.

I usually slice it.An inch each slice. Then I boil it until tender. This gets the fat off.Slice bite size if you prefer.Once tender I add to spaghetti sauce.Slow cook on stovetop for about half an hour. This is to get flavor in sauce.Put sauce and pork on spaghetti noodles sprinkle parmesian cheese on top.
This is my family's favorite.Hope you like.

The best way I like to cook pork roast is in the slow cooker. I brown the roast in bacon fat first, then sprinkle garlic powder, seasoned salt and pepper all over. Put in the Crock Pot and add 1/2 cup of apple juice. This pork roast is to die for.
The other way I like it is from Dr. Phil's cookbook. Combine 1 tablespoon no-salt lemon pepper, 2 tsps fennel seeds, 2 tsps oregano, 2 tsps dried rosemary in a small bowl. Combine olive oil (I use canola oil) with mashed garlic cloves and rub over the pork roast. Sprinkle herb mixture over the entire pork loin. Place in shallow roasting pan and roast at 325 until golden brown (about 1 hour and a half). This takes a little more work but it is so good I always go back for more.
Hope you try one or both of these and enjoy them as much as me and my family have - including my children!

=) That’s awesome! I know my Hubby is picky and I believe it was due to the way his mom would cook? lol ....I treat him like my children and tell him he has to at least try 1 bite and if he doesn’t like it he doesn’t have to eat it but at least try! Well it worked and he eats almost everything I have made =) lol
Thanks for your response and tip

I either rub my roast with sage and rosemary and pop itin the oven or ?I might slow cook it in the crock pot. My husband likes sauerkraut with his pork roast. I prefer potatoes and gravy.

This recipe is my favorite thing to do with a pork roast.
Slow Cooker BBQ Pork Fajitas
1 pork boneless loin roast, (2 1/2 pounds), trimmed on fat
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
2 cups barbecue sauce
3/4 cup Old El Paso® Thick 'n Chunky salsa
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 bag (1 pound) frozen stir-fry bell peppers and onions
1/2 teaspoon salt
18 flour tortillas (8 to 10 inches in diameter)
Shredded cheese, if desired
Guacamole, if desired
Sour cream, if desired
1. Place pork in 3- to 4-quart slow cooker. Place onion on top. Mix barbecue sauce, salsa, chili powder and cumin in small bowl; pour over pork and onion.
2. Cover and cook on Low heat setting 8 to 10 hours.
3. Remove pork from cooker; place on cutting board. Shred pork, using 2 forks. Return pork to cooker and mix well. Stir in stir-fry vegetables and salt. Increase heat setting to High. Cover and cook 30 minutes or until mixture is hot and vegetables are tender.
4. Using slotted spoon to remove pork mixture from cooker, fill each tortilla with 1/2 cup pork mixture. Fold one end of tortilla up about 1 inch over filling; fold right and left sides over folded end, overlapping. Fold remaining end down. Serve with cheese, guacamole and sour cream.

hmmmmmmmm
the last one I made was a pork butt
$2 a pound I think it was
it had a lot of fat in it
some of the fat cooked out
you have to just brown it slightly then bake it with onions and spuds
