How many of you have been blessed with a new baby in 2007? If so, when this year? Did you have a boy or girl? Did it go well for you?
Myself I was blessed with a new baby girl at the end of August. She is beautiful, happy, and healthy. Everything with her went great!

YEs, I was blessed with a B-e-a-u-tiful baby girl in July! She had a hard time gaining weight for the first month...nursed and she was getting enough milk b/c she was an inefficent (sp) eater....tried everything. had to go to bottle feeding and formula was just easier since i have a toddler too and it would take an hour or two for baby zoe to get her fill and then an hour later be hungry again..
she was jaundiced for the first few weeks which explained a lot, in and out of hospital and dr. offices.
but she is 5 months now, healthy and happy!
congrats to your baby girl.

I had a baby boy last August too.He didn't come from me, we adopted him from a young girl who doesn't want the baby.A juvenile pregnancy. We were so happy to have him, he's a boy...very active and now healthy. It was a tough call for me to stand as his MOM because when he was in the womb, the woman carrying him is uncooperative. She self medicated herself , had some UTI and URTI and had nearly aborted him.Good that I was monitoring the pregnancy. My son delayed in crying in an hour, and the umbilical cord was strangulated on his neck.He have been on oxygen for an hour and since there was an infection from the biological mother, his doctor prescribed for two kinds of antibiotics, which those shots I administered myself since I am a NURSE.I also had monitored progress of labour myself before the final stage of delivery . I feared something went wrong, but today he is so healthy and kicking.I look at it as a BLESSING.My son can now say MAMA to me, I'm so proud and happy for him.And so glad he is now an addition to our family!

When I had my son 4 years ago we lived 5 states away so nobody really got to see him until this last January when we moved home. I feel very fortunate that my daughter will grow up close to her grandparents. Fortunately, it only took my son a few weeks to start acting as he had been around his grandparents his whole life. It's hard having distance! Congrats on your new granddaughter!

I haven't had another baby in 2007, but i had my son in may 2006, due to past complications in pregnancies and babies i had alot more check ups and scans to make sure he'd be ok. He is hyper, but very loving and happy boy.
I am pregnant now, which the baby will be born early 2008.
Congrats on your baby girl.

I don't have kids and never will, but I was blessed with a new niece the first of August. My sister had the baby Aug 9th. She was born via c-section and is doing great. She has a thing for her Aunt who spoils her rotten whenever I see her. Both the baby and the baby's 3 year old sister are spoiled actually. =)

Well, in my opinion you don't have to be the new parent in order to be blessed with a new baby! I mean, my family considers my children to be THEIR children too. They were all blessed with a new baby this year, not just me! Not wanting kids is a personal choice, and a new niece can be just as great! Besides... no sleepless nights for you! You can spoil them and give them back to your sister at the end of the day! LOL

Not quite a 2007 baby but my youngest was born in November 2006 so he was close! I had a super easy (although long) labor and delivery and the past year has been great. He's walking all over the place now and is a total ham. He tries to copy everything the older children do with some pretty amusing results. Congratulations on your baby girl! My youngest daughter was born in August 2000 and was followed by 3 boys so I love hearing about little girls...I miss all the pink and frills!

My little guy was born in November of this year. He is such a sweet little boy. He is doing great. He is just over a month old, and he rolled over for the first time today. Pregnancy was very rough from start to finish but definitely worth it.

My firstborn was due around the end of September, and he didn't decide to come out and meet us until October 10th! He is still stubborn too! I second the mommy again notion, I forgot how great it was even though you are up all night for feedings and changing. Sooooo worth it.
