I see so many people on the internet trying to advertise different free money websites and getting referrals by spamming their links all over the place. What a waste of time! All it looks like is some scammer trying to trick people. Most of these kinds of posts get deleted anyways. It can also make a legitimate offer look like a scam because the person trying to get referrals does such a bad job.
What's the main problem with most people? They don't provide any PROOF that they got paid! Why?
1. They are too lazy to upload a picture or screenshot of their payment.
2. Their site is a scam.
3. They don't even know if it's a scam because they haven't even gotten paid yet.
What the PROPER way to get referrals? Give PROOF! This is what you have to start doing. I used to get frustrated when people thought my links were scams and now I know why. They just need some proof that I got paid! I made the most complete proof of payment in my profile. Please take a look at how it should be done!

I really agree..i'm starting this kind of approach with an experiment about interent gaming i'm conducting on my blog.
I plan to put every possible proof of payment that i can, so maybe it will make visitors more interested.
Yesterday evening i got my first referral for mylot from a downline builder site. Like i thought he didnt write down a single message on this site yet, i know its a single day since he signed up, but i guess he wont write at all, he just signed up to get my points from the downline builder site. I also think rarely it serves the purpose to search for them. referrals must search for you to be good ones..wich is pretty difficult to obtain for anyone..

It's not always true with downlinebuilders. Sometimes people sign up but the program doesn't meet their expectations.
Same thing happens with signups from regular referrallinks.
It is a valid remark for creditbased programs like getref.

The problem with downline builders and referral buyers is exactly like you said. They don't even care about your program. All they care about is referral credits for their own programs.

Thanks for this advice. I once visited a site with proof of payment and just happen to notice all the dates were in 2004!!! Attention to details is a must. I am going to update my website with payments.

You are absolutely right. At least now onwards, members can do that. After at, after 1 or 2 months of joining a new site, they get their 1st pay. They can display that and seek the help of other members to join under them. Thanks for a nice thread.

Thanks for the reply. I do believe providing proof is a very important part of convincing people that something isn't a scam. Take care.

I agree, I just joined an online shoppng mall and even though it was free and I got cash back on every purchase, I asked for proof. The organization is powermall. I joined and started http://www.dailyoink.com I have made money by shopping and inviting my friends to shop at stores including Sephora, Old Navy, Macys...over 1000 stores. You get back between 4-55% Please ask me if you would like proof or info

A fanatastic proof i must say, the only problem is that someof the offers re limited to US and Canada, otherwise I need to look deeper into cashcrates than I have. I can see most of your ernings are from referrals, you dont tell us where you actually display your link and proof, here on mylot or elsewhere?

Yes, in teh long term, referrals is what gets you the most. If you are outside North America, you can still join. You can then refer U.S. and Canadian residents and earn plenty of money. Like you said, I made over $88 last month from referrals and $49 from referral bonuses. I also put my proofs in my Yuwie blog and put my referral link in forum signatures.

Eugene, this is one of the better self-promting marketing strategies that one can come up with. Your cashcrate info is legitimate but do remind people this business site revolves around taking surveys for a number of consumer goods and offering your opinion. I don't remember if there is a catch for absorbing the shipping and handling charges and the necessity of having to purchase nearly most of the stuff you are surveyed on.
Your advice on proof to show marketing credibility is good and placed well here on myLot. I wish you much success and thank you for an important message for those of us trying to keep our businesses above the sinking line . . .

btw, regarding your comments on CashCrate. I have only done the 100% free offers, so I didn't have to spend a single penny on that site.

I agree I think showing payment proof really helps a lot to gain peoples trust to assure them its not a scam and its safe to join. For most of my sites I have payment proof, others I don't just because it takes longer to make the minimum amount to cash out and receive payment. You have a lot of proof for CashCrate, I have also been paid by them and have proof on my website for them. I never use to spam my links all crazy like some of the people I have seen, where they post links in discussions that have nothing to do with what the link pertains to. The links I see posted most are Cashcrates and TreasureTroopers, and thats usually on Yahoo Answers. Good Luck :)

Yeah that's good that you provide proof too. I only sign up as a referral for people who provide proof and evidence because I know they actually put in the work and effort to try the program and then upload pictures of their payments. I feel that these are the people who deserve to get the referrals. Thanks for the response!
