You see all the questions..what would you like to get for Christmas? This is the opposite..what don't you want to get for Christmas..What things are you hoping you don't get for Christmas? Maybe something you always get?
I don't want to get any more "jelly" for Christmas.. Anything else but Jelly..I do not like Jelly that much..I have jelly that can last months.

Hi littlefranciscan! haha..that is a nice one! I don't think I would not like to receive another calendar/appointment book, the one which is made of synthetic leather wherein you put all your appointments (really don't know how you call it so I am just describing it..haha..) Got 5 of those last year, and the year before that, I got 3. So, i don't wish for more of those this year, maybe one will suffice. haha.. Take care and have a nice day! :)

What don't I want for christmas?
I don't want anyone in my family to pass away during this time other than things like this. I really don't care, the day will be great even if all I get is socks and wolly jumpers... hehe

So wolly jumpers would be a certain kind of sweater then? I never heard of them. I think clothing..here..more like scarfs, hats, gloves are very popular..as well as socks and handkerchiefs.

Nope.
Jumpers are basically sweater. It's quite common to recieve a wolly jumper as a present but luckily I've never been sent one. :P
Still i'd repsect the thought.

The things that I do not want to get for Christmas is a bath towel. It is killing me every year to receive bath towels from my godmother. I haven't used all of my bath towels. So far, I have 10 towels in my cabinet that is given to me by my godmother. I hate it! Sometimes, my godmother gave me bath towels during my birthday. When I open my cabinet, all I can see first are the bath towels. It really looks like a collection. But it's not. I haven't even used most of them. I think I just used 2 to 3 towels in a year.

Even though presently you may not need those "bath towels", later on, when you are older..if you save those towels; they will help dry all your children and wife too.. Hopefully your Godmother comes to mylot and will see this post and get a hint and provide you something other then bath towels; maybe some soap??LOL

I would like to see my father and family happy for Christmas. I personally do not need nor want any material items. To me, holidays are about family. My priority and goals are simply to spend time with my family. Thats all I want. Although, I'm sure I'll get my niece and nephew a few toys from "Santa". Merry Christmas!

I don't want to get any candy for Christmas. Everyone gives me candy all the time for Christmas. I think I still have candy from last Christmas. I would much rather receive some cash for Christmas; this lets me buy what I really need. Ugh: chocolate, chocolate, chocolate..I am so full of chocolate;)

Wow: I never thought I hear someone say they do not want candy for christmas. I can understand though. If you get it every christmas and in huge quantities; it can become old. I would stop dropping hints around the people you know..somehow letting them know that candy is way over given for you;) Welcome aboard to mylot.

I agree: that fruitcake can be so fattening and so sweet. There are some fruitcakes that are hard to refuse.

I think a better question is what shall I give for Christmas. It is far more fulfilling to give rather than get. Having said this, I am never keen on getting a boring novel to read. Such reading material does nor interest me in the slightest.

Maybe so..but this is not the title of this topic. Everyone talks about what they want to get. It's my choice to create a topic and I wish to know what others don't want; it helps me to know what is not popular amongst the posters..when I plan to go shopping.
I, for one, believe it's better to give then receive..it's also helpful when giving to know what the other prefers not to have..Two good and necessary things.

Well, hopefully all those "dont want's" wont sneak into your home this Christmas.. You will simply have to make sure they know they are not welcome and keep the door closed to them;)

I do not want anyone to be sad during Christmas. Christmas is the time to be happy and celebrate. I want everyone to be happy during Christmas. Well I have not thought about what I don't want for Christmas. I think this is the first time I am seeing such a question. Most times people ask what you want for Chritmas.

I hope that this is one thing Christmas does not bring us: "Sadness" but if it does..let us pray that we will strive to bring the opposite to others..

I do not want or need any sweets! So many people that my company works with will send me boxes or canisters of candy and I so do not need that! I am skinny because I watch what I eat and I excercise nearly everyday, but I don't want to eat all that for Christmas! Don't misunderstand me, I do appreciate the thought!
I want my loved ones to be happy this Christmas! Material things are nice, but they don't really make you happy!
Most importantly, I want to remember the real reason we celebrate Christmas...Jesus Christ! We celebrate His Birth..the greatest Gift of all!
Merry Christmas!:)

I agree wants and needs are important to remember..but at Christmas..we kind of have an unheard permission from God to let go of all those worries of weight and figure and just splurge a bit and celebrate..If you are worrying about measurements etc..how can you be happy..just for a day or two..let go of the measuring tape and be free..you will really enjoy the season then;)

OK, you asked for it, here goes...lol...
First, I don't want a partridge in a pear tree; I don't have a pear tree and I don't really have any place to put one! Also, you can skip the other days except for maybe the gold rings, if they're 14 carat solid gold.
Please, NO hippopotomus! If I don't have room for a partridge in a pear tree I sure don't have room for a hippo!
I don't want two front teeth, I don't have room for them either...
PLEASE, no fruitcake! (If I do get fruitcake and actually attempt to eat it, I change my mind about the last item.)
If anyone gets me a Chia Pet, they DIE!!
I know you don't want to hear what we want to get but I'm going to tell you anyway...I'll take that earlier poster's chocolate!

I don't want coal in my stocking. Or nothing under the tree at all for me. (Already have alot for children.) I dont want an unhappy hubby. My in-law situation not always the best. Hubby not happy with his dad last year. I don't want a forgettable holiday.

In others words you would like all the frustration and fretting to be far from your home this Christmas..Let us start praying now that such evil spirits will be kept away and your home will be happy and warm.

It's the thought that counts. I truly believe that. So I like receiving any gift as long as some thought went into it. I don't want any thoughtless gifts. That is I don't want to receive any gifts that someone just got me because they felt obligated to and in which shows that they obviously did not put any thought into it at all.

Oh I agree..something someone just has to push themselves to wrap to do ..just because they feel they have to..that is no gift. It would be better if they would never haver wrapped it at all.
