The company I work for uses a large amount of paper daily and we don't recycle. How can I get my company to start recycling? It makes me upset that we just throw paper away in the trash.

You could tell them that it cuts down on the waste charges??? That worked for my employer. We always have a lot of glass waste where I work. I just offered to take the glass to a recycling bin twice a week and my boss gives me an allowance for this to cover fuel costs. At the end of the monh she saves a lot more on waste charges :-)

Hi! Its very easy. You have to discuss it with her/him the Recycling process, its importance and advantages of it.Make a research on what are the ways of Recycling papers.Pick up all the important messages from your research and make a presentation about it. Initiate and discuss it with your employer. I think if you do that you will earn points from your employer. And it could be implemented to all the department/unit of your company.

Well, all you can really do is try to show them how it will help the company.
In the end, you can only control what you do, not what other people do.

I'd start talking to other employees and see if they have the same desire for recycling as you do. If they do, see if you can gather a group of people willing to go talk to the boss about recycling and it's benefits for the company and for the environment.
